Mint Beauty Therapy - Privacy Policy

This website and its contents have been created in good faith by Mint Beauty Therapy. If any information is incorrect or you feel that it is misleading, please contact Lisa immediately.

Data privacy is of high importance to Mint Beauty and I want to be open and transparent with my processing of your personal data.  I therefore have a policy setting out how your personal data will be processed and protected.

1. Consent: By filling in the Lifestyle Consultation Form, you are giving your consent for Mint Beauty Therapy to create an account for you, and to hold your personal information. I use your information in order to give you the best possible service and for insurance purposes. And do so in accordance with the privacy legislation in this country.
2. Personal Information: In order to respond to your enquiries it may be necessary to ask for personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. I will use this information only to respond to your requests or to contact you via mail, e-mail or phone.The only data I collect for marketing purposes is via the Lifestyle Consultation Form you complete when you first book with Mint Beauty Therapy.  You are given the option to unsubscribe after every email that is sent.  Unless compelled by applicable legislation, we will not provide this information to a third party without your permission.
3. Storing your information: Your information is stored both on an encrypted computer and, where applicable, on the secure control panel for this website.
4. Retaining your information: You have the right to ask me to destroy your records at any time, if you wish to terminate our working relationship. Otherwise, your Lifestyle Consultation records are retained for eight years following our last date of contact. 
5. Accessing your information: Your records are accessed by myself, Lis Murray at Mint Beauty Therapy.
6. Sharing your information: Your information will be kept strictly confidential, unless there are legal grounds for me to disclose something which you have told me to a third party. I shall always inform you if I feel that disclosure is necessary and seek your permission and co-operation first.
7. Complaints: If, for any reason, you are unhappy with how I am handling your data, please raise your concerns with me first, so that we can seek a resolution. If you are still not satisfied, then you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
